Anthony Edwards scores a career-high in a win against the Suns. Timberwolves Anthony Edwards scored a new career-high of 42 points in the victory against the Phoenix Suns. Nonetheless, Edwards was selected first overall in the 2020 NBA draft.

Making History

With a new career-high of 42 points, Anthony Edwards has joined an elite company for the youngest players with a 40-point game in NBA history.

That’s not all; he even set a franchise record. Edwards broke the Timberwolves rookie scoring record of 37 points, set by Zach Lavine in 2015.

Dynamic duo of KAT & Edwards

Anthony Edwards scores a career-high in a win against the Suns. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both had themselves a game. Towns scored 41 points on 15/24 shooting while hitting 5 3s. Edwards scored 42 points on 15/31 shooting.

ROTY Race

Anthony Edwards is now making himself a case to be the rookie of the year. Ever since the all-star game, he has stepped up his game to the next level.

If Anthony Edwards keeps this up, there is absolutely no doubt he should win rookie of the year.
