Deadpool 3 just released its very first trailer, and fans are losing their minds over the endless easter eggs within it.

This is exciting news for any Marvel die-hard fan and potentially for newer fans as well, as these secrets mean that Deadpool 3 ties or is tied with multiple films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Additionally, for audiences interested in Deadpool 3 they can view the trailer here.

1. Secret Wars

One of the most popular Easter Eggs fans immediately recognized was the Secret Wars comic near Deadpool before he was ‘attacked’ by Wolverine at the end of the trailer.

They also concluded that the page was an issue from Marvel Comics’ 2015 Secret Wars crossover.

Furthermore, fans are speculating that this could potentially signal that Deadpool and Wolverine will be a part of the anticipated film Avengers: Secret Wars, which is slated for 2027.

2. Universal Studio

Deadpool is at it again with the fourth wall breaks as they showed a fallen logo of 20th Century Fox Studios in the trailer.

Perhaps this nods to the fact that Disney previously managed to acquire 20th Century Fox Studios back in March 2019. Given these points, it’s no wonder that Deadpool 3 will kickstart the anti-hero’s inclusion in the MCU.

3. Loki Easter Eggs

The Time Variance Authority (TVA) is back, as they are the ones who kidnapped Deadpool in the first place.

Moreover, the TVA also showed Deadpool what the Avengers have been up to over the past few years, which influenced him to say that he’s the “Marvel Jesus.”

On top of the TVA, some fans are pointing out that Alioth also appeared briefly in the trailer.

4. Doctor Doom

Fans immediately pointed out that this masked man holding a weapon eerily looks like Doctor Doom, the famous villain from the Fantastic Four.

However, some still need more convincing, as the one in the trailer doesn’t look as menacing as his Fantastic Four counterpart.

5. Pyro and the X-Men Series

Last but not least, fans were able to recognize a split-second cameo of Pyro from X-Men: The Last Stand, who Aaron Standford will play.

Pyro, if it wasn’t obvious from his name, is a mutant who can control fire. In The Last Stand, he stood alongside Magneto as they fought the X-Men and rejected the cure that would eradicate their unique identity as mutants.

These easter eggs in the Deadpool 3 trailer are just one of the many reasons why fans think this movie will be a hit at the box office.
