WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 26: Nav attends the Republic Records Grammy After Party At 1 Hotel West Hollywood at 1 Hotel West Hollywood on January 26, 2020 in West Hollywood, California.

Despite saying “Good Intentions” would be his only project of the year, Nav has dropped again, this time in the form of a mixtape.

Nav linked up with big name producer Wheezy for “Emergency Tsunami”.

The project features 14 songs, including an intro and an outro. Nav has already dropped a music video on Youtube for “Friends and Family”.

After his 2019 album “Bad Habits” went No. 1 on Billboard, followed by “Good Intentions,” Nav is looking to go No. 1 back-to-back-to-back with his latest project.

The mixtape is currently the No. 1 album in all genres on Apple Music.

“Emergency Tsunami,” Nav’s sixth overall project, is likely to sell anywhere between 70k-90k copies in its first week. For reference, the Toronto rappers most recent album sold 127K first-week copies and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The project has features from Gunna, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Lil Keed, and Sah Babii.

According to Nav himself, this is likely his final project of the year.

“I don’t know if I want to give too much because I don’t like oversaturating my fans with my music. It’s going to have people asking for more though.”

Perfect Timing 2 On The Way for Nav?

The wait could almost be over for fans who have been patiently awaiting “Perfect Timing 2”.

Before “Emergency Tsunami” releasing a couple of days ago, Nav hopped on The Weeknd’s radio show to discuss the project, along with a few other things. Among those other things was the possibility of “Perfect Timing 2” coming soon.

“Perfect Timing” was Nav and Metro Boomin’s collab album that dropped in 2017. It’s Nav second overall project, after his self titled album. Ever since the release, the two have been teasing another one. A 2021 release date looks like a very realistic timeline for the highly anticipated album.
