Nav Announces Mixtape With Wheezy Is Almost Complete

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 26: Nav attends the Republic Records Grammy After Party At 1 Hotel West Hollywood at 1 Hotel West Hollywood on January 26, 2020 in West Hollywood, California.

Nav announced on his Instagram story yesterday that a new mixtape with Wheezy is almost complete.

Nav has been teasing new music for close to a month now. Fans have finally found out that it is a project and not just a single.

The Toronto artist has already dropped a project this year. His fifth studio album, “Good Intentions,” which dropped in May, ended up topping the Billboard 200 chart.

If Nav and Wheezy drop this mixtape before the end of the year, it will mark the first time he drops two projects in one year.

Nav previewed a track produced by Wheezy called “Pickney” in July on Travis Scott’s radio show. It is expected to be on the mixtape.

The upcoming mixtape is expected to include big-name features. That includes Gunna, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Don Toliver, and possibly fellow XO member The Weeknd.

Nav and Metro Boomin dropped “Perfect Timing” in 2017, so Nav is no stranger to working with big-name producers.

There were rumors of a “Perfect Timing 2” dropping this year, but it looks like fans will have to wait until at least next year.

An official release date is yet to be announced, although it is possible the project is dropped before the end of the month.
