Marvel just dropped a trailer for Deadpool 3 during a Super Bowl LVIII commercial break. Fans are thrilled to get their first glimpse of the film and its title: Deadpool and Wolverine.

Previously, rumors were circling that Deadpool 3 would drop its first trailer during the big game. It’s great to see that they were right.

The trailer didn’t fail to entertain fans with a lot of fourth-wall breaks, such as Deadpool looking at the camera saying, “Pegging isn’t new for me, friendo, but it is for Disney.”

Did we also mention that he called himself Marvel Jesus? Apparently, Deadpool will have a lot of fun exploiting, exploring, or perhaps toying with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Your little cinematic universe is about to change forever.”

To top it all off, the trailer ends with a surprise cameo of Wolverine from the X-Men franchise!

Marvel is changing their meta by making Deadpool 3 the only R-rated movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It is also the only MCU movie that the company will release in 2024, as the next one would be Captain America: Brave New World, which will hit theaters in February 2025.

In the meantime, Marvel fans can at least look forward to upcoming Disney+ shows such as Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, X-Men ’97, and X-Men ’97.

Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy, who previously worked on Stranger Things, Arrival, and All the Light We Cannot See.

The movie will also feature a talented cast, including Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead).

Deadpool 3 will hit the theaters on July 26, 2024.
