A mobile game titled “Rainbow Six Smol” makes its way to Netflix games, which players can play both on iOS and Android.

Flashy colors, top-down graphics, adorable characters, and grade-A violence greet fans in this brand-new, fast-paced, tactical action game.

Creative Director Renaud Forestie was extremely excited to widen the franchise’s audience; thus, publishing a more approachable Rainbow Six seemed like the right opportunity.

So far, the game is in the right direction as it meshes cartoon graphics with nonstop violence: bombs, guns, explosions, and saving prisoners. Both adults, teens, and kids can enjoy saving hostages and heroically blasting through walls.

The trailer showed that there are some new recruits that players can play to lead Operators in their missions.

Additionally, Verge revealed that a small team of 10 at Ubisoft managed to develop this intense mobile game with Netflix’s involvement very early on. This means the company didn’t focus on monetization but rather on Netflix’s subscription plan. However, fans can’t play Rainbow Six Smol unless they subscribe to Netflix.

More about Rainbow Six and Netflix games

Rainbow Six Smol takes inspiration from its parent game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. It is a multiplayer tactical team-based shooter where you play as either an attacker or a defender. It has multiple game modes that involve rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, or taking control of an objective in a designated room.

Currently, the game is 60 percent off on Steam until March 1, 2024. If you are interested in other mobile games, Netflix offers a plethora of them:

  • Oxenfree
  • Ghost Detective
  • Before Your Eyes
  • Spiritfarer
