The NBA has announced it’s 2019-2020 All-NBA teams. Headlining the selections are Lakers stars LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and DPOY Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Rounding out the first-team is Anthony Davis. Although he’s played an ambiguous amount of minutes at the five spot, the NBA decided to reward him for his stellar play. His running mate, LeBron James, notched his NBA record 16th All-NBA selection.
Pascal Siakam is perhaps the only noteworthy name amongst the second-team selections. Pundits and fans alike will contend for Tatum or Butler to replace the 26-year-old — mainly due to his abysmal play in the playoffs. However, since the award is based on performances before the season being truncated, Pascal Siakam will catch a break. His numbers are better than the aforementioned All-Stars, and was on the superior team.
Eight of the selected players are under the age of 29, portending that the league is in more than good hands.
