During this quarantine period, sports documentaries have been the primary source of entertainment for the fans. With no live-action to turn to, these such documentaries have served as a replacement. The list most notably includes The Last Dance, an ESPN series focusing on Michael Jordan’s last season with the Bulls. This series has been incredible, but it is soon coming to an end. Fortunately for sports fans, there appears to be a new documentary in the works, this one regarding former owner Donald Sterling and his scandal with the LA Clippers.

Back in April of 2014, TMZ exposed Donald Sterling as a racist during a taped phone call with his ex-girlfriend. Sterling stated he doesn’t want her associating with Black people or bringing her Black friends to Clippers games.

The series, directed by Michael Jacobs, is to be titled “Blackballed.” This Donald Sterling Clippers documentary will feature interviews from Chris Paul, Doc Rivers, Deandre Jordan, JJ Redick, and Adam Silver as they sit down and examine racial tensions in our country alongside sports and discuss how the two intersect.

“Blackballed” will air May 11th on Quibi.
