Enes Kanter of the Boston Celtics slams Nets Owner, Joseph Tsai.

“The owner of @brooklynNets @joetsai1999 is a coward & puppet of the Chinеse gov’t. Being anti-CCP does NOT mean being anti-Asian. It’s possible to #StopAsianHatе & to stand up against the CCP. Human rights are not “westеrn” values, they are UNIVERSAL values! Spinelеss Joe Tsai.”

Enes Kanter

Kanter over the years has spoken out on humanitarian issues. He has not shied away from calling out the likes of LeBron James, Turkey’s President, or Nike. Nets owner Joseph Tsai has been Kanter’s next target. He believes Tsai has not done enough to go against the Chinese Government on slave labor issues. Kanter has spoken out throughout the season, whether that is him going on CNN or wearing shoes that hold a strong statement.

Kanter’s outspoken nature

Kanter has never been afraid to give his thoughts. Turkey’s President has targeted him for years. That hasn’t stopped him from bashing the President. Furthermore, Kanter has made headlines going after NBA superstar Lebron James. Kanter claimed that James goes for “Money over Morals.” Kanter believes that James doesn’t speak out against the Chinese Government because that is a source of income for James.

Kanter’s issue with the Chinese Government is that he says that the Chinese Government has slave labor. He has used his platform to go after the Chinese Government. Kanter said that the 2022 Olympics should skip China’s “dictatorship” because it should be “Morals over Money.” He has used his Twitter to speak out frequently against the Chinese Government.

Kanter says that he got a death threat on Saturday but that won’t stop his rights advocacy. Although Kanter is very outspoken, he says that he is not a politician but pushes for human rights. In conclusion, Kanter has been and will continue to be an outspoken person on human rights topics. Death threats and differing opinions will not stop his push for rights.
