Controversial comedian Michael Rapaport is back in the headlines as he alleges that Kevin Durant threatened him via Instagram’s direct messages. Rapaport also posted screenshots that may be between him and Kevin Durant.

The ‘beef’ originated between the two after Rapaport called Durant “sensitive” in a tweet. It came to new light as Rapaport recently lost a defamation case against media entertainment company Barstool Sports, where Rapaport formerly worked. Durant proceeded to “clap-back” regarding Rapaport’s court loss.

Rapaport captioned the post the following:

“As most of you know, I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think [KD] would be among them. The [snake] himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is Americas sweetheart right? KD didnt get hacked either. Hold this L champ”

If the screenshots are real, this would not be Durant’s first time facing scrutiny for his actions on social media.

The Nets’ superstar forward reportedly uses “burner” accounts to defend himself on social media. In addition to drawing negative reactions from fans, his alternate accounts also drew national media attention. He even embraced the accounts on the “All The Smoke” podcast.

Durant is yet to respond to Rapaport’s strong allegations against him. His Nets currently lie 2nd in the Eastern Conference and are favorites to win the title after signing veterans LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin.
