Washington Wizards blew out Boston Celtics 104-91 on Sunday afternoon. Celtics lost 10 of their last 15 games. They are really struggling at the moment after back-to-back losses from the Pistons and the Wizards.

After being rested against the Knicks, Beal returned with a bang. He scored 35 points, had 7 rebounds and 5 assists, while Russel Westbrook was one rebound shy from a triple-double (13-9-11). For the Celtics, both Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown scored 25 but were the only ones on fire. Jayson Tatum had one of the coldest nights in his career. He shot 3-14 (21%) and 0-2 from beyond-the-arc. Last year’s All-Star ended the game with 6 points. He even missed a single free-throw he had. The worst thing is that he was the third-leading scorer for the Celtics, as everyone else scored 5 points or less.

The MVP from 2017 again struggled from the free-throw line. Westbrook is shooting his career-worst 65% from the FT line. Against the Celtics, he shot 1-3, but one of the attempts left even him in disbelief.

9th Pick on this year’s NBA Draft almost dunked on the tallest player in the League. Ex Maccabi Tel Aviv small-forward finished the game with 8 points and 10 rebounds.

“Damn, I mean, what can I do?” he said. “The basketball gods didn’t let me have it. I wanted it so bad.”
