Clint Capela has a message for Knicks fans ahead of game five. Capela wants the Hawks to go into Madison Square Garden and end the Knicks season. The Hawks are up three games to one and look to advance to the second round for the first time since 2017.

Both teams have been going at each other all series. Knicks fans have been calling out Trae Young, and one fan even spat on Young during New York’s game two victory. However, the Hawks answered and took both games in Atlanta.

Capela isn’t shying away from the Knicks’ physical play in the series.

“They are trying to play tough, push our guys around and talk s–t.” “But we can do that too. We showed them as soon as we came back here that we can do that too. We can push guys around too. We can talk s–t as well, so what you gonna do about it? Oh, and we can get a win with it. So what you gonna do about it?

“Oh, Game 4, you’re coming back again; well, it’s going to happen again. We win the game, we talk s— and we push around. So what you gonna do about it? That’s what happened. We can do it too. We can be physical, but we can win games as well. “Now we’re coming to your home to win this game again and send you on vacation.”

The Hawks cruised to a 17 point victory in game four. However, both teams got into it. Julius Randle shoved Danilo Gallinari late in the game, resulting in a flagrant foul. Randle was retaliating because he thought Gallinari elbowed Reggie Bullock in his back.

“That was a dirty play, retaliation or not. That’s not how you play hard. Maybe if you dunk on him it can be, all right, you got him back. But just shoving, we all can shove someone.”

Julius Randle responded to what Capela had to say by keeping it simple, stating, “I don’t care.”

Derrick Rose also added, “I’m 32 years old. I never talked s–t in my life. I’m not going to start now that Clint Capela said something.”

There’s no love lost between these two. Capela expects a tough, physical matchup in game five. The Knicks are on the verge of elimination and don’t want to lose at home.

Clint Capela and the Hawks will look to send the Knicks on vacation in game five.
