Devin Booker is prepared to play a smaller role to represent his country. Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma claimed that if Team USA wants to win a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics, some of its players would have to take a lower role. Booker made it clear that he would sacrifice his usual stardom in pursuit of another gold medal.

Booker averaged 27.8 points per game, shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from three-point range for the Suns last season. He is anything but a role player for the team. However, Team USA may include a ton of other superstars besides just Booker.

Reports have come in that LeBron James has a serious interest in playing in the 2024 Olympics in France. Not only that, but James has already started recruiting other stars to join him in his pursuit.

Anthony Edwards, Mikal Bridges, and other players on the World Cup team played well. However, some of the star power seen on previous Olympic teams was absent. Booker would instantly bolster the star power of the team.

The Americans would undoubtedly be the favorites to win the gold medal if James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and other stars all entered the court. While there are many talented players on other countries’ rosters, the star power the USA can hold is unmatched.

The USA will attempt to win their fifth straight Olympic gold medal. James was a member of the 2008 and 2012 teams, while Booker, Durant, and Draymond Green were on the most recent team to win the gold in Tokyo. One thing is for certain, Booker would be a massive addition to an already solid USA team.
