The NBA has released the first returns from the fan votes for the NBA All-Star Game. LeBron James and Kevin Durant are leading each conference in votes. Stephen Curry and Bradley Beal are leading their respective conferences at the guard position.

As of now, there are numerous potential first-time All-Stars on the list, highlighting the young talent in the league. Other items of note:

  • Klay Thompson is on the list despite not playing this season
  • After having 2 All-Stars last year, the Raptors have no representation on the list so far
  • NBA All-Star fan voting ends on February 16th

There are no solid plans for an All-Star Game currently, but there are significant talks between the NBA and NBPA surrounding an event hosted in Atlanta. Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the NBA should have a finalized agreement as soon as next week. The original plan was to simply vote for the All-Stars but have no game. With plans on the way for a game, the vote is looking more important.
