LeBron James tops the list for the most popular jersey during the second half of the season. The top five included players like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant. However, James is the most popular jersey, and the Lakers are the most popular team overall in merchandise.

Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have the type of season they were hoping for. The Lakers dealt with injuries and losses in the first round of the playoffs. However, the Lakers are one of the biggest NBA markets, and it shows with their sales.

The Brooklyn Nets were a close second when it came to overall team merchandise. In addition, the Nets had five players in the top 10 when it came to most popular jerseys. Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving all cracked the list in terms of popularity.

LeBron James headlines the list with the most popular jersey. However, the list has a balance of established veterans as well as rising NBA superstars. Young players like Trae Young, Ja Morant, and Devin Booker see increases in their jersey sales. In addition, Luka Doncic and Jason Tatum are in the top-5, ahead of players like Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, and Stephen Curry.

One of the biggest surprises is that Curry is the seventh most popular jersey. Curry is a fan favorite, and kids gravitate towards him because of his play style and how he shoots the basketball. Curry also went on an impressive run to end the season and had iconic performances to keep Golden State in playoff contention.

Young players saw an increase in their sales, and teams saw an increase in overall popularity. For example, the Suns moved up 16 spots from the first half of the season. In addition, players like Trae Young and Devin Booker saw an increase because of their play in the postseason.

LeBron James is still on top when it comes to sales. He battled injuries, and the Lakers struggled in 2021. However, James and the Lakers never struggle when it comes to selling merchandise. LeBron still looks like the face of the NBA and will be headlining to the top of jersey sales until he decides to call it quits.
