Caitlin Clark Shoots Better Than Luka Doncic

Last Monday’s game between the Tigers and the Iowa Hawkeyes was quite the nail-biter. Angel Reese and Clark performed great for their respective teams, but the latter just swooped the win away.

One of the spectators was Dallas Mavericks‘ Doncic, who was awed by the 22-year-old’s performance against the defending champions. Iowa just denied the Tigers’ chance at a back-to-back championships. This was in huge thanks to Clark’s performance during the game.

“That’s the women’s Steph Curry. She can shoot it better than me.”

Luka Doncic

Interestingly, there are times when seemingly the spirit of the Golden State Warrior shines through her as she fends defenders off into a three-point shot.

Meanwhile, their stats are closer than many would think. There’s more to Doncic’s claim than many would think.

Clark averages a 46 field goal percentage with 38 percent of her three-pointers going in this season. Meanwhile, Curry makes less overall with a 44.9 field goal percentage but makes more of his three-pointers at a 40.3 three-point field goal percentage.

The statistics substantiate Clark’s new title of the women’s “Steph Curry.”
