Kendrick Nunn could receive offers of $15 million per year in free agency this summer. Nunn is a restricted free agent and is looking to sign a big deal this offseason. However, if he receives a large offer, the Heat might not be able to match it.

Nunn isn’t the only player the Heat needs to focus on resigning this summer. Duncan Robinson, Victor Oladipo, and Trevor Ariza all have expiring contracts as well.

Nunn went undrafted in 2018 and spent his first year with the Golden State Warriors organization. However, he played with their G League affiliate in Santa Cruz before signing with the Heat in 2019.

Nunn is averaging 15 points per game in his two seasons with Miami. The 25-year-old played a key role in the Heat’s finals run in 2020.

The Heat have a lot to figure out this summer in regards to the team’s future. Miami is one game away from elimination, and their offseason could begin before this week is over. The Heat have players who need to resign but also need financial flexibility if they want to pursue a big name in free agency.

Kendrick Nunn is going to draw interest in free agency. He’s a young, rotational guard with finals experience who can either start or come off the bench.

The Heat fell short of expectations in 2021 after making the NBA Finals in 2020. Miami finished as a sixth seed and is on the verge of being swept by the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Heat acquired Victor Oladipo at the trade deadline, and he is going to be a free agent this summer. However, Oladipo is dealing with injuries that could keep him out for part of next season. Goran Dragic has a club option as well so the veteran point guard could need a new contract as well. Duncan Robinson will also be a free agent they’d like to bring back.

Nunn will be one of the team’s top priorities. However, Miami may not be able to match an offer of around $15 million per year.
