After going down 3-1 for the second time this postseason, the Denver Nuggets remarkably tied their second-round series versus the Clippers with a comeback win yesterday. Leading the charge as he has all series was all-star center Nikola Jokic. Jokic scored a game-high 34 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out seven assists. The strong performance earned him the utmost praise from his teammates.

Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray, whos combined with Jokic to form one of the best duos in the playoffs thus far, called Jokic the best player in the world.

Rookie forward Michael Porter Jr. echoed the praise:

This surge of excellence from Jokic is frankly nothing new. In his 27-game playoff career, Jokic averages a stellar 25.6 points, 11.5 rebounds, and seven assists per game. Hes been especially great in the 2020 playoffs, as he ranks 3rd in total points and 1st in total rebounds.

The Nuggets will look to do the unthinkable in Game Seven. A win will make them the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit multiple times in the same postseason. Denver is ready to make history behind Jokic.
