Nikola Jokic once again joins the annals of NBA history by completing another incredible feat. He’s logged a triple-double against all the teams in the league. Obviously, the Denver Nuggets don’t count; it’s still quite the achievement, shared only by two other players.

Nikola Jokic Will Look Back At This As A ‘Cool Thing’

The Nuggets big man subverted many fans’ expectations of him. He knew that the Washington Wizards were the only team left whom he had not scored a triple-double. This contrasts Jokic’s old behavior of not caring about his statistics.

Understandably, this isn’t him saying he cares about it, but at least the six-time All-Star acknowledges it—something that doesn’t apply to many of his other accolades.

Even better, he states that he’ll look back on it as something he’ll be proud of.

“It’s just something after I finish my career, legacy, milestone, I’m going to look back and I’m going to say that’s a really cool thing to do.”

The Nuggets beat the Wizards 130-110, with Jokic helping tremendously. He clocked in 21 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists and one steal.

That’s a jaw-dropping stat line for one of his career-defining moments. Thanks to this, he’s joining the likes of LeBron James and Russell Westbrook in the exclusive club of putting in triple-doubles against all the teams in the NBA.

Furthermore, he became the “first player in league history to shoot 10-for-10 or better from the floor with at least 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a game.”

Jokic Surprises Fans By Acknowledging The Accolade

Fans know well that the reigning Finals MVP doesn’t discuss his career. However, this seems to be one of the rare times he does. It’s so uncommon that it’s catching users off guard.

This highlights why Paul Pierce believes that the Nuggets are the only team he can guarantee will make it out of the first round in this year’s playoffs.
