Two Players Have Tested Positive for Coronavirus Inside the Disney Bubble

Per Shams Charania, two NBA players have tested positive for the Coronavirus inside the Disney Bubble. The NBA took 322 tests of players inside the bubble, and of that number, league authorities reported two positive cases. The NBA has kept the names of these players anonymous but announced that they have left the bubble to undergo isolation.

What this means for the NBA season is complicated. A few days ago, we heard word that Sacramento’s Richaun Holmes broke quarantine rules to pick up a food delivery. Then, news broke that Houston’s Bruno Caboclo “unknowingly” left the bubble as well. Although the odds are Caboclo and Holmes aren’t the two who tested positive, their actions still speak great measures.

The entire plan of the NBA is based on the assumption that the players will follow the rules. They are only a few days into teams arriving, and already there have been multiple bumps in the road.

What lies ahead is unknown, but as fans of the game, all we can do is sit back and pray that the season still happens. Fingers crossed, we won’t hear any more news of the Coronavirus inside the Disney Bubble.
