Joe Burrow and Dak Prescott are back on the practice field after months of rehabbing from injury. Both quarterbacks lost their 2020 season. However, Burrow and Prescott are back and ready to lead their teams in 2021.

Burrow wants to play in week one. He says his knee is at 85 percent, and his doctor feels he will be ready to be under center by the time the season comes around. On the other hand, the Cowboys coaching staff feel Prescott will be good to go by training camp in July.

Prescott suffered an ankle injury in week five against the New York Giants. Burrow would go on to tear his ACL a few weeks later against Washington.

The two suffered devastating injuries, but there is room for optimism in 2021. Prescott was on pace to break multiple passing records with the Dallas Cowboys. Now he is on pace to be a Cowboy for life after signing a large contract extension this off-season.

Burrow was drafted number one overall to a Cincinnati team with a lot of wholes on their roster. However, Burrow proved in ten games that he is the guy moving forward. Burrow threw 13 touchdowns, completed 65 percent of his passes, and led the Bengals to some good wins.

Seeing both players back on the practice field should have Bengals and Cowboys fans excited.

2020 was a year filled with injuries. Some of the biggest stars lost their seasons and are rehabbing to play in week one.

In addition to Burrow and Prescott, Saquon Barkely, Nick Bosa, and Odell Beckham all went down with an injury. That’s to name a few because players dealt with injuries and COVID-19 for the entire season.

The 2021 season kicks off on September 9th with a matchup between Dallas and Tampa Bay. Prescott makes his return and will try to take on the defending champs.
