The San Francisco 49ers Would Only Be Willing To Trade Brandon Aiyuk If The Offer Was ‘Too Good To Refuse’

Brandon Aiyuk’s future with the San Francisco 49ers has remained a heavy topic of conversation over the last few weeks. This has caused the future of both sides to be an intriguing one to follow.

Those rumors only increased after the team chose to draft wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the 31st pick in this year’s NFL Draft. According to recent reports though, the 49ers are only willing to move Aiyuk for a very high price.

“Teams have inquired about Aiyuk’s availability as far back as March 2023. The Niners rebuffed those overtures then, and when the subject was mentioned this year, they would have considered trading him only if they got an offer that was too good to refuse.”

ESPN staff writer Nick Wagoner reported

Aiyuk finished last season with 75 receptions, 1,342 yards, and 7 touchdowns last year. The 26-year-old was an instrumental part in helping the team reach the Super Bowl.

There is no denying that there is a legitimate market for Aiyuk given his skillset. Any quarterback across the NFL would be happy to have him as an offensive weapon. It will now come down to which team is willing to pay the 49ers’ asking price.

“Based on my conversations with other teams, the 49ers are now more likely to deal Deebo Samuel than they are Brandon Aiyuk. Stay tuned.”

Michael Silver reported

The Niners have made it relatively clear at this point that they don’t want to move any of their offensive weapons. However, if one of them gets disgruntled, they may be left with no choice.

San Francisco will hope to retain Aiyuk and make another push at this year’s Super Bowl out of the NFC.
