Devin Booker is telling fans not to count the Phoenix Suns out yet. He claims all the road teams have lost their games against their matchups. As such, he believes they’ll play better when they play with home advantage.

Devin Booker Pushes Past Negativity

Gerald Bourguet shows how the four-time All-Star continues to try against an uphill battle. Booker talks about how all the road teams have lost their games against their rivals.

He highlights the statistics but claims that it’s nothing about them. However, he’s accepted that’s just how it is as an NBA player for the past few days.

It’s commendable that he’s trying to stay optimistic despite the worrying losses against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“Don’t count us out. It’s a series for a reason. I don’t think any road team’s won so far. I know that doesn’t have anything to do with us, but it’s just the situation that it is.”

The guard’s playoff performance has been less than stellar. The jitters could be getting to the 27-year-old as the team struggles to go against the West’s third seed.

Booker’s shooting is below his season average of 27.1 points a game, with 20 points made during their second against Minnesota. In game one, he only put in 18 points for the team. While these are good numbers, they are less than Booker usually puts in for games.

Kevin Durant Asks Fans To Continue Believing

Kevin Durant asks fans to continue believing in them as the series slowly turns into do-or-die moments. Their morale will be even lower if the fans stop showing trust in their ability as any team would.

While Durant showed up for game one with 31 points made, it wasn’t enough to beat the Timberwolves’ overwhelming 120 points to the Suns’ 95.

While the Suns slightly bounced back in game two, scoring 93 points to Minnesota’s 105, Durant underperformed, scoring only 18 points.

The team needs to reevaluate whatever’s happening on the court. Add that to the fact they’ll be playing at home for the next two games, and they might bounce back.

The irony is that all two road teams won their games tonight, with the Dallas Mavericks snatching the win away from the Los Angeles Clippers. Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers bounced back to get the win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Do you think the Suns will find their rhythm soon?
