Dwyane Wade is no longer playing on the NBA court, but he is still very involved with the organization. The three-time NBA champion and part-owner of the Utah Jazz was a member of one of the most famous Big 3’s of all time.
Before Dwyane discussed the operations behind a Big 3, he discussed his thoughts on the Golden State Warriors.

You may love the Warriors or hate them, but it is hard to disagree with that mindset.
“I’ve gotten a better appreciation for Draymond Green since I’ve retired and really watched this guy. I mean he’s a point guard like he is one of the best playmakers in the game. But Steph Curry, he proved it last year, he’s proving again this year, he is one of the greatest to ever play this game. He’s on that Mount Rushmore from the standpoint of changing the face of the game.”

The success behind forming a Big 3
There is much more to forming a Big 3 than the average NBA fan thinks about. Because of this, many fans are shocked when they fail.
“I thought we did a great job playing GM with each other and making sure we put the right chemistry of guys with [Chris Bosh] [LeBron James] and myself.”

Chemistry is an integral part of building a star-studded team. Some teams have it, and some simply do not, but it is important to trust the process. Even the Big 3 in Miami got off to a rocky start.
“That’s the biggest thing you look at, you know you just look at the chemistry and it takes a while sometimes.”

Just like in Miami, people may be overreacting to the rough start from the Los Angeles Lakers. Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and the rest of the Lakers had sky-high expectations, but they are barely above .500 on the season.
“They have the talent, and they have the veteran play they need if they get in a seven-game series. We do know that, but we also know health plays an important part in the game of basketball, especially as older players. We know that they have talent. We know that they have Hall of Famers, but we don’t know [if] they’re going to be able to be there in the end together.”
