The Kardashians always find their way in the media, and that was precisely what happened in the Memphis Grizzlies home game on Sunday. A fan was ejected for making comments about the Kardashian family to Tristan Thompson of the Sacramento Kings.
During the game, Thompson became physically angry and pointed out the situation to a referee. A few moments later the fans were escorted out of the arena. Thompson has a three-year-old daughter with Khloe Kardashian and that was the fans’ way of taunting Thompson.
Kings interim head coach Alvin Gentry is not a fan of the comments toward his player.
“I don�t think it needs to be talked about or anything, but obviously it�s not anything that I�m going to tolerate people saying to my players�I know that�not without intervening and asking them to be removed. They can say anything they want to me or they can boo and do everything they want with the players, but there�s no room for saying inappropriate things in a sporting event. That�s not why you�re there.”

It is hard to gain rapport with players as an interim coach, but comments like these can help your cause. This incident comes just days after Pacers fans were kicked out for antagonizing LeBron James.
Thompson and the Kings
Thompson is currently on his third team in three years, and he is still trying to find his grove.
The big-man is currently averaging 5.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in 14 minutes per game on the 11 seed. He is playing a career-low in minutes, and he is simply not the same player he was on the championship Cleveland Cavaliers team.
The Kings center is struggling, but he is not a man you want to mess with. Sacramento is five games under .500 as we enter December basketball.
Sacramento and Thompson look to rebound, but who knows, maybe the Kardashian curse is a real thing.
