Klay Thompson isn’t happy with the rumors of possibly moving teams. He shows his frustration by calling reporters out for only focusing on the future rather than the “now.”
Klay Thompson Wants To Be Happy With The Present
There’s a lot of talk about teams that want the Splash Brother to join their ranks. Specifically, the Orlando Magic and Dallas Mavericks have their eyes on Thompson. This is only because the forward will be eligible to be an unrestricted free agent next season.
However, the 34-year-old isn’t ready to give up his dynasty, accolades, history, and achievements. Instead, he’s calling out the reporters solely focusing on how he’s “probably moving.” Sam Amico reports on Thompson’s thoughts on all the buzz surrounding him.
He points to his slightly below-average season, where he still performed relatively well compared to other players. He questions why reporters aren’t highlighting his performance instead of focusing on his potential trades.
Meanwhile, he talks about wanting to win a fifth ring before finally calling it quits. Moreover, he was encouraged when he saw a fan wearing a #11 jersey on the sidelines. Despite that, he still missed all his shots against the Sacramento Kings a day ago.
Thompson missed all 10 shots against Sacramento, preventing them from sweeping the win from under their rival. Instead, they lost with the Kings leading by double digits at 94-118.
Fans Aren’t Happy With This Response After His Performance
This response would be more defensible had he shot well against the Kings. However, that isn’t the case, and this mars his already below-average season.
Many point out that the season is over and that the question is where he’ll play next.
Who wants to tell him that the season’s over so the present is actually about where he’s playing basketball next

It is indisputable that he was a vital aspect of the Warriors’ 2010 dynasty. However, could the forward’s career be over?
