Darvin Ham fires back at Anthony Davis‘ words after the Los Angeles Lakers lost Game 2 to the Denver Nuggets. He said they’d just “agree to disagree,” which worries fans as the team looks even more disjointed now more than ever.
Darvin Ham Tries To Understand Anthony Davis
There seems to be some misunderstanding between Davis and Ham. The former recently commented that the Lakers don’t know what to do, whether playing offense or defense.
This points towards the team’s management. More specifically, the coaching team can’t seem to make plays that work. At least, that’s how Ham understood it as he tried to defend the coaching staff.
Michael Corvo‘s video shows Ham explaining Davis’ words as being frustrated at the moment. Thus, he indirectly blames the coaching staff for the plays. Ultimately, the head coach says the problem isn’t the team’s organization.
“I just think sometimes a play isn’t gonna turn out the way it should. The frustration sets in a little bit. But I don’t think it’s for us not being organized.”

Furthermore, he defends his staff by pointing out they’re not the problem. He compliments his coaches and points out the positives of his team and his management. Ham tries not to invalidate the superstar’s words by just “agreeing to disagree” on the issue.
“I think I have incredibly talented coaches all along my staff. We pride ourselves on being highly efficient and organized. I just chalked that up with being frustrated, it’s an emotional game the way it ended. But I would agree to disagree on that one.”

Fans Aren’t Happy With How The Series Is Going
Fans are not excited to see the next few games. Many point out their disappointment in the Lakers’ coaching staff and find Ham’s answer disingenuous.
It’s rare to see users and fans unanimously agree on a specific opinion. Sports fans naturally bicker and debate issues.
However, even users who aren’t fans of Los Angeles feel bad for the ones who are.
There’s still a chance for the Lakers to bounce back as they face Denver in Los Angeles. However, fans are slowly losing hope on that possibility.
Do you think LeBron James and Davis will bring the series back, or is it Nuggets in four?
