Anthony Davis isn’t too happy with the Los Angeles Lakers‘ loss to the Denver Nuggets. They’re two games down as Denver slowly inches towards sweeping them.
Anthony Davis Senses Something Wrong With The Team
It’s normal for a team to experience ups and downs. However, the Lakers have felt this rollercoaster this season. Now, their mistakes are showing up during their matches against the Nuggets.
Now, the big man points out that the team is aimlessly moving up and down the court. He doesn’t specify the issue further, but he tells Jovan Buha that they have moments where they don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
Having issues on both the offense and defense can have multiple factors. However, many already know who to point the finger at.
Darvin Ham’s run this season has fans questioning his position as the head coach. Fans are getting even more agitated with the recent performance during these early days of the playoffs. Even Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t think Ham has the expertise and history to rein in players of LeBron James and Davis’ caliber.

It could possibly be a management problem since it all boils down to the plays and strategies the coach brings up. However, the Lakers could have trouble finding their stride against the defending NBA champs.
Davis Mic Drops During An Interview
The second game’s postgame press conference was filled with disappointment. The nine-time All-Star talked about what happened during the game, then walked out and dropped the mic.
No competitive player would want to talk about what led to the moments wherein the team loses.
“Jamal Murray made a shot.”
Anthony Davis
Jamal Murray’s clutch shot during the last seconds of the fourth quarter prevented an OT and led to the Nuggets’ second win. Davis tried his best to contest the shot, but it went in anyway. After dropping a 20-point lead, the Lakers must feel the overwhelming frustration after, as James would say, “laying an egg.”
Do you think Denver will sweep the Lakers?
