Palworld PvP Mode Gets its First Trailer

Palworld PvP Trailer Footage (Photo from IGN)

Palworld just announced their new PvP Mode, which they’ll release sometime in 2024.

IGN’s Triple-I initiative was the first to report this. The trailer was only 16 seconds long, but it did show a few important details.

For one, Palworld players enter an arena pit similar to the world-famous Colosseum. This iconic landmark is named Palworld Arena.

The trailer suggests that the PvP match would be a 4v4. Players can summon up to three Pals to fight against one another.

Meanwhile, the players themselves would also participate with their guns and items equipped. This confirms that players won’t be idle during the fight; they will and should take charge and outplay their fellow Pal tamers.

We suggest that players should prepare powerful highly-built Pals as others would do the same. In fact, we even saw Bellanoir, Palworld’s first-ever raid boss, in the trailer.

Palworld has yet to release the official rules, mechanics, and rewards for the upcoming PvP, but it is only a matter of time before they do.

Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe previously shared about the potential of Palworld’s Pvp. The team acknowledges the community’s desire for ‘real-time action battles’ while also focusing on the time they spent in caring for their Pals.

More about Palworld

Palworld is a multiplayer open-world game in which you can fight or catch creatures named Pals. It currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam.

It’s available for $30 and has already sold over 19 million copies. As a result, the company behind Palworld has earned more than $570 million.

It reached the top boards of Steam’s sales and was even Xbox’s biggest third-party game launch, at least on their Game Pass.

Overall, Palworld seems to be doing well despite its rocky start. The game used to suffer as well due to its success, as keeping the servers open is quite expensive.

Its 0.2.0.6 update would certainly generate more revenue, while this PvP would also entice new and old players alike.
