It’s officially playoff time in the NBA and the Denver Nuggets are looking to go back-to-back as NBA Champions. Given a lot of their returning pieces from last year, there is a good chance of them doing just that.
The duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic is undeniably one of the best in the entire association. However, in a recent interview with Hoops Hype, the star guard explained why he believes that he and Jokic are the best duo in basketball.
“If you want me to rank where I believe, I think we’re the best duo. I think they’re in a bigger market and people have more interest in LeBron and AD in LA, or what Dame and Giannis could be, or what Luka and Kyrie could do.”

There is no denying that Murray and Jokic deserve to be in that conversation. While they may not be talked about as often as some other duos, they are right up there with the best. The Nuggets clinched the second seed in the playoffs this year with relative ease.
Ultimately, the Western Conference will continue to run through Denver. Over the course of this season, Murray and Jokic combined for 47.6 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 15.5 assists per game.

Jokic is the odds-on favorite to win his third MVP this season as well. Given the level of basketball they have played this year, the duo in Denver will look to put the league on notice this postseason.
