It wasn’t that long ago when Patrick Beverley caused a stir online when he named the “whitest” Black players in the NBA. Weeks after, Beverley and co-host Adam Ferrone are it again, this time naming the “whitest White” starting five in the league on Pat Bev Pod.

Can you guess all of them before playing the video?

Patrick Beverley: Who are your whitest White guys in NBA? Obviously, I can’t be in this conversation because I’m not a white man.

Adam Ferrone: At point guard, standing 6’1″, from the University of Arizona, TJ McConnell!

Patrick Beverley: I love TJ’s game.

Adam Ferrone: Gordon Hayward– the white man’s white man.

Patrick Beverley: I don’t know what that means. He gives me “hair in gel” vibes.

Adam Ferrone: Half a tube of gel…

Patrick Beverley: Ah, see, that’s a White thing.

Adam Ferrone: Sam Hauser. Caucasian as hell.

Patrick Beverley: The first outfit in Call of Duty.

Adam Ferrone: Bring him around your grandparents. He’s wiping his feet at the door, sweater around waist.

The conversation ended with Walker Kessler of the Utah Jazz and Duncan Robinson of the Miami Heat. The Milwaukee Bucks guard shared a cool story about mentioning Kessler in the pod. Beverley said the Jazz center was very thankful since.

The funniest “vibe” comment obviously belonged to Robinson.

Adam Ferrone: Like he mows the lawn on Sundays for fun.

Patrick Beverley: Or mows your neighbor’s lawn for fun.

Adam Ferrone: Mind if I do the edges?

Patrick Beverley: Yeah, yeah, that guy. Cool. Cool little five.

Mo Bamba took offense when Beverley mentioned him among the “whitest Black” players in the NBA. The Philadelphia 76ers center noted that he was born and raised in Harlem, otherwise known as the “Black Mecca of the World.”

It’s interesting to see if one of the aforementioned names will react to this. If somebody does, it will probably “inspire” Beverley and Ferrone to do more segments like this.
