Thanks to Delta, players can now enjoy old Nintendo games. The app is a free Nintendo Emulator available in the Apple App Store. It is available worldwide except for those living in Europe.

Other sources mentioned that the way around this is to download the app through a third-party store named AltStore PAL.

Delta supports games from GameBoy (Color), GameBoy Advance, NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, N64, and Nintendo DS. Furthermore, Delta creator Riley Testut mentioned they’d support more emulators in the future and even thanked everyone who supported him on his journey.

Additionally, Delta supports Bluetooth controllers such as the following:

  • PS5 controllers
  • Xbox One Series S controllers
  • Nintendo Switch Pro controllers
  • Bluetooth/wired Keyboards

Due to its high demand, many Nintendo fans and Apple users are already talking about Delta. For those wondering how to play Nintendo games within the app, the steps you can follow are below.

  • Download/Open the Delta app
  • Be sure to download the required ROM of the Nintendo game you want
  • Click the plus “+” sign on the upper right corner
  • Click “Files” and select the ROM files you downloaded for Delta

Unfortunately, few DS fans seem to encounter an error telling them they are “missing files” within the app. The community shared this Reddit post that would help with their problems.

Apparently, users have to download the files within the Reddit post to solve it.

While all of this seems like good news to Nintendo fans, some are worried about the developers’ welfare. This is because Nintendo recently sued a popular Nintendo emulator named Yuzu. The developers of the app had to pay $2.4 million to Nintendo to settle the matter.

Perhaps only time will tell if Nintendo will take action on this or not.
